★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gangar stores is a family managed farsan and dry snack store. It has been rather popular with local residents of Santa Cruz west. It was revamped about 2-3 years ago and has been doing great since .
Located right next to an international school and junior college, it has a vast range of packaged foods, snacks, breads, pickles, khaakhraas, sauces, freshly made dips, Indian sweets, (mithaai and shrikhand) chips and even a few varieties of dry fruits and chocolates. During summer they also stock aamras i.e frozen mango pulp
Their dry snacks are some of the freshest you will find including sev puris, chaklis, puris for pani puri, and also fresh snacks like dhoklaas
There are 2 chemists, an all veg bakery and a much loved icecream parlour - Gokul icecreams (reviewed by me earlier) just next door.
If you're a samosa lover, and you go there by mid morning, you can buy te famous A1 samosas!!
