★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a very good experience with this place.The owner and the staff is very helpful and courteous. The owner is a very jovial and humble person to have conversations . You will find all shorts of great books collection in this place.,their Arts, Fiction, Non-fiction, Scientific sections of books in Ist floor.In the ground floor, they have a conglomeration of things from stationary Items to drawing, painting brushes and stuff. I would highly recommend to any book lovers for a visit to this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice, homey, comfy, warm bookstore with nice and a few spots to sit and read. They got a publishers bookshelf and the new hardcovers on display. Usually to my taste. They're good at finding books like fiction, cosmic horror and such.A best place to buy books for book lovers. I was searching for a book for many years and I was happy that I could find it here. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice experience with the owner and the staff. The owner is a very jovial and humble person to have conversations with. There are lots of great books in their Arts, Fiction, Non-fiction, Scientific sections of books (in Ist Floor). I was sometimes surprised to see some rare books in their collection, and was very happy to purchase those books. And moreover, beyond a threshold (I guess 1000 Rs?), you will get a nice percentage of discounts too... There is an academic floor too, where you will get all the books for your college and school needs. I found the Computer Science section there a bit out dated, but still they have a nice collection. In the ground floor, they have a conglomeration of things from Stationary Items to Drawing/Painting brushes and stuff. Highly recommended to go for a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recent times, coming across a store with immense and essentially a comprehensive collection of books and periodicals is rare and this store is one such example. Run effectively and updated constantly across all categories. Just love browsing the shelves and the store owner is very friendly and humble enough to offer his help. Definitely recommend to visit for those who love to shop books and stationary items

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place. Visited the shop with my son. Purchased a James Patterson novel. I am a great fan of this writer. I read a lot of his books when I was in London, thanks to my daughter who lives there.
How I wish Gangaram bookstore would start a library too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice bookstore, helpful owner (aged uncle). He broke open a set of books just because I wanted few books from the set, which were not available otherwise. He was very friendly and nice about the whole thing. Must visit!

That’s, by far, the most agonising thing you can hear in a bookstore. Sadly, I had to hear that here at Gangarams.
Why do bookstores even exist if not for the possibility of flicking through a few pages before deciding to buy the book? Even if one’s not buying it, most good bookstores don’t mind people reading the whole book itself. I’ve spent half my childhood in such bookstores.
The collection of books here is pretty decent. But the moment I heard one of the staff tell me “no reading”, I got up and left. This isn’t a bookstore I wanna buy from. Disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Every small detail requirement gets fulfilled here. Even go for window shopping then also you will buy something before coming out. Varieties and distinct items are sold in the ground floor.

It's like a floor of books: novels and stories, kids books to spiritual books
2nd floor
All study related books available from school level Ncerts to engineering level references and text books

It's a library like place but u have to buy the book you want to read at the original cost only
