★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gangasagar is an island in West Bengal. Which is spread over an area of 300 sq. Km. It is here where the river Ganga meets the ocean. The famous pilgrimage is on this island. Every year on the occasion of Makar Sankranti, a fair is held where millions of people Hindu devotees come, who take a bath in the river at the confluence of the Ganges with the ocean. There is also an ashram of Kapil Muni. It is said that once a dip in the Ganges Sagar is equivalent to performing 10 Ashwamedha Yagyas and donating a thousand cows. Gets fruit?????
