No affiliation, bad faculty , no improvement in school for last 4-5 years. Do not take admission in Class 11 in science, else ur career will be gone

Non-affilated school. After studying for 10years did not see any improvement but it's standard is going down and down. Faculty is a major problem in this school. Wish to see some improvements in this school!

It is a very good school. I am working for the past six years. Good faculty. Students are given individual attention.

If you(the reader of this review) have passed icse or equivalent examination and thinking of joining a school with concession of attendance because you want to appear for neet or jee then please I warn you to stay away from this school.The school campus is horrible consisting of a worn down building with a playground overgrown with weeds.The school is non-affiliated (earlier it was under a school in kolkata now it is under a school in singhur).The worst aspect of the school is its teachers and administration.The faculty is awful;they don't have proper knowledge of the subject and lack teaching skills required for teaching in class 11 and 12(although satisfactory for teaching upto class 10);the administration is extremely inefficient,rude and careless in their job and also takes ample time to do a simple job.The teacher to student ratio is surprisingly big.The labs are in worst shape;they have not been maintained for a decade atleast;no instruments work in physics lab,most of the chemicals have expired in chemistry lab and most of the slides and specimens have been spoiled in biology lab.There is hardly any usable toilets.Proper renovation is needed around the place.The school does nothing to help his students.Every month a new principal takes in charge but resigns at the end of the month.You will be impressed by the advertisement of the school but beware don't fall for that instead go to some other schools or even change your board. .....by your well-wisher

I am writing this is 3 languages, don't ever take admission in this school, ये स्कूल पे ना पढ़े, এই স্কুল এ ভর্তি হয়েও না । Yeah you can surely join this so called school if you are planning for doing nothing in your life. Perhaps the number of teachers here is more than the total number of students in the whole school. So now it's up to you whether you are gonna take admission over here or not! If you are a girl, then you might think of going at SJC - situated just beside this school, and for boys there is no such good affiliated ICSE-ISC school in that area so you might think of moving on to some other places for some good schools, but not this school, PLEASE! Now let's take a dip into the campus. Standing tall in front of some wild and deadly bushes (it is often said that there are snakes around in this place) is a tumbledown building named GANGES GURUKUL. After entering through the main gate, you'll see a straight path which leads to the main building of this school (the only building of this school) and yeah, you'll see new new teachers everyday over here as the faculty keeps on changing. There is no principal in this school since 1 year and there is no hope for it. A coordinator runs this whole school and as you know this school is a non-affiliated school, they can't even afford a vehicle for transportation to the other affiliated school for exams or any practice classes! And the laboratories.. Oh God! They still use CRT monitors in the computer lab and they don't even care about the broken AC present over there. The chemistry lab was recently cleaned up before 2 years but still it lacks several important chemicals which you need at class 11 and 12. The physics lab also lacks several equipments, and believe me you'll be the luckiest person in this whole world if you find a perfectly working ammeter or voltmeter or a galvanometer over there. The biology lab also lacks various important equipments but still it is better compared to the other labs. There are no new books in the library and it is not clean at all. By God's grace, there is only one class having smart board in it but still the projector doesn't project the screen properly at times. Now, once again, it's up to you if you or your friends still want to take a admission in this school or not as I can't force you guys for avoiding this school... ...by your well wisher.

Much better than the so called 'best schools' that parents would rather choose because of the 'brand name'. The staff are polite and student-friendly. The administration is polite, cooperative and approachable. Provides the freedom required for the healthy growth of a child. Does not advocate inculcating illusive egotistical imagery in a child's mind. And yet, far from perfect. Infrastructure is not good. The school is not affiliated. Apart from this, does not make a student very ready to sit for exams (an achievement that no school in this area can boast of, if not falsely of course). Nevertheless, does not throw random fests to dispel attention from the fact that it fails to provide quality education (which should be the priority of any school). And my personal favourite: Fails to attach a 'brand name' with your child's name. (if you consider that as a disadvantage) 'Brand name' for schools is a totally nonsensical view point. Those schools don't care about the students and their administration are characterised by baseless arrogance, by virtue of which they often end up ridiculing themselves. And, obviously, these shameless 'educational' institutions care about nothing but money. I strongly recommend choosing this school over schools that demand an unjustifiable amount of fees for a 'brand name'. (which is a total waste of money, and very possibly, a childhood )
