★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the Ganpati guesthouse with the great rooftop overlooking Ganga and the neighbourhood. Food is very good, if you like a change and ready for some Western food, the pancakes here are excellent and the service is very friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing view. Access via the hotel/hostel on the street. Food is good and atmosphere is great. Get here for 7pm and you can see the ceremony in the ghat down the river!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yes, beautiful view during Aarti, HOWEVER : food was average (probably the saddest looking Naan I've seen in my life and oiliest palak paneer), special thali comes without dessert... And all of this wasn't a big deal per se until they told us the water filter in the kitchen DOESN'T WORK.. Which pretty much means unhygienic, dangerous food, especially for us westerners. So thanks, Ganpati Restaurant, but no thanks!!! We are never coming back due to your negligence!!!
