★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent government owned ship building company. Small to medium warships like frigates are manufactured here and are famous for their craftsmanship. Also ship repairing is done. A large number of Engineers and technicians work here. It has been in the service of nation for a long time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a high security zone as it manufactures ships for the Indian navy. This place is very a important defence establishment of our country. It is a city within a city. But one thing that bothers me immensely is that a lot of casual labourers belonging to the minority community work here. How much can these workers be trusted? Does not their presence compromise and jeopardize the security of this place? These are the questions which trouble and disturb me greatly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a heaven for people who have keen interest in knowing about the manufacturing process of ships and specially warships. The infrastructure of the company's FOJ unit is good but not better than the Main unit. The ambience inside is energetic and clean which helps everyone to do there job without any problem. As it is a Ministry Of Defence understanding company, it is always protected and guarded by soldiers.
