★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location is quite nice being in the middle of a forested area at the base of the Garpanchkot hill, around 4 kms from the Panchet Dam. Roads have also greatly improved in recent times though there are a few steep speed breakers during the last stretch. The property is shabby like any typical Govt facility but this ones a little better compared to the rest. Food is average and simple. Staff are attentive and friendly though, but don't expect any star treatment. Car parking is available and entry is allowed only through a prior reservation and don't forget to carry the printout of the reservation slip. Few places to hike around as well through thickly wooded paths and there's also an old and abandoned jeep track nearby, up the hill, where you can try some off-roading if you have a good 4X4 SUV. Do expect plenty of insects and creepy crawlies at night and a few snakes as well, but then this is a part and parcel of being in nature!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bang at the foothiils of a lone hill in the region. Very popular amongst tourists especially senior citizens. Can spend 2 days in the lap of nature. Dam, ruins, temples, jungle themed holiday seekers won't be disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a dream destination. Anybody who loves nature and tranquility will be fond of this resort. The location is wonderful. The food is simple and tasty. The hospitality of local tribal people who work at the resort is heart touching. Some rooms have awesome view of the hill and forest. The nearby tribal village is another attraction. The garh and temple of garhpanchkot are also not far away. Winter and early spring are the best time for visit as the summer is extreme.
