★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited this clinic through a refrence, i was having stomach pain for 5-6 days. The doctor came wearing slippers & sat on his seat, asked a few questions & handed over me a slip with endoscopy charges written on it. He said this is the only possible way to know what my problem is & i definitely need to undergo this.
His behave & procedures seemed odd to me & i never visited him for endoscopy. Next day i visited another doctor in ambala, he gave me a tablet saying it will work 70%, but if it didn't then you need to go through endoscopy . I took that medicine & that 1 week pain just vanished in 2 hours. I visited that doctor again, he was happy and told me some precautions for future.
This gastrocare, please do not visit here. They are here to take the money out of yout pocket.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I Have gone through various reviews about me and I am surprised about it. A person. who is not happy would come and directly talk to you istead writing just because you are free to write a review.
I have been in practice for last 30 years.
Earning money is not aim we intend to give best services are very affordable charges which are atleast half of what chandigarh is charging and giving a professionally competitive reports which are accepted by institutes like PGI
know waiting period at my place is about 2 to 3 hours if you are coming without an appointment. This is informed to the patients that initial time of morning from 9 to 12 is for endoscopic procedures in the morning and then pand consultation will be taken up after that. the process is totally transparent, but I cant do anything about impatience of the patients. Appointments are attended are seen at the given time and if there is an emergencies are there , they are tackled immediately. Each consultation takes at 15 to 20 minutes so you can calculate the waiting period after 12 for a patient comes at 9 am. People have to be understanding and co-operative instead of fighting and shouting on the counter.

IN PRINCIPLE, OUR AIM IS TO SERVE THE PATIENT IN BEST POSSIBLE, BUT STILL THERE WOULD GO UNSATISFIED. WHICH, PERSONALLY HURTS US BUT WE CAN DO NOTHING ABOUT IT.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very rude behavior. Prescribed antibiotics without even checking for H Pylori infection. Worsened my situation.
Reply: u didn't take biopsy for checking h pylori while doing endoscopy. On seeing duodenitis u assumed h pylori and gave antibiotics. And i already told it to you on face that u r very rude and don't have manners to talk to patients. So i don't need to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ He is very experienced doctor. He will talk straight forward. I have been going there for 2 year now coz my disease is not cureable only we can control it. Thank god i choose this doctor. He saved alot of my money that i could have wasted traveling to chandigarh and their high priced treatments.
I think people writing bad reviews coz other doctors scared the patients first and then take money out of them and patients wont mind paying even high price or waiting .
Staff is nice as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Umesh Mehta at Gastrocare - Ambala City, is a very experienced gastro doctor, He is really a humble person. He saved the life of my mother. We went to him in really a critical situation when all other doctors failed to diagnose the problem of my mother and she was continuesly doing blood Vomitings. We had not that much time to take my mother to Chandigarh PGI or Fortis. Then some doctors suggest us about Dr. Umesh Mehta and he did so well that our mother is with us today. Dr. Umesh knows very well what he is doing. No other gastro doctor is of his competency level in whole Ambala Cantt and Ambala City.
One point I want to address here that, While she was under treatment I went through google feedbacks to know more about Dr. Umesh Mehta and i really got frightened by so many negative feedbacks. I really want to say that if a doctor is less talkative and much involved in his work it never means that he is rude or not capable. He is handling so many crucial patients everyday that he cant do hours long chitchat with patient family, however he still listen to patients and family members patiently and reply very softly to everyone and give proper time to patients. So guys whenever you leave feedback for a doctor do it very wisely.
There is very fragile relation of trust between a doctor and a patient. So many useless feedbacks can hurt anyone's trust on a doctor. So its our responsibility that if we have power to write feedbacks then we must use this tool wisely.
They do have professional staff and hygienic ambience.
Two points which I want to highlight:
1. Long waiting
2. For blood you need to rely on external source
I don't know how to express my gratitude towards Dr. Umesh, but still Thank you so much Dr. Umesh for all the help you did. We are highly obliged.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great knowledge Dr Umesh has for his speciality..my nephew was dying due to excruciating pain his stomach which no longer remained after having the prescribed medicines..Waiting in the waiting hall was due to our visit without appointment and patients who were already on appointments which is quite obvious...highly recommended..

we got your reference from PGI and my friend was suffering from stomach ulcers you treated him with your best efforts.. one thing that i would like to add is please listen our problems patiently. and one thing is after endoscopy for ulcers u did not add sucraalfate suspension in prescription so... is it not mandatory ? bcz in my past experience of endoscopy my doctor forgot to add it and consequences were horrible . please rivert..
