★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a bird sanctuary, but it is a bird field, you will notice the bird on the main road when you take the turn.
Lots of birds! Visited early in the morning in march, the roads are a bit narrow so it is going to be a struggle if you plan to park here when you’re birding! Spotted around 30 species of birds here in half an hour! Definitely a place for avid birders. Though the place does smell, the stagnant water and the mosquitos don’t help either. Recommended only for nature and bird lovers who wouldn’t mind these things :)
Takes around 30 mins to get here from Gandhinagar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent place to visit for bird lovers , One will find flamingo? in heard . Gathers bird sanctuary is located near near and its around 30 kms from Ahmedabad. This sanctuary is not developed hence approach road to lake is narrow , it is advisable to park vehicles before entering approach road as people park there vehicles badly resulting in jam. Best time to visit this place is early morning at sunrise ?. One has to take water bottles and eatables along with them as you will not find any shops near century. Kindly keep neat and tidy .
