A highlight for the year 2019-20 has been Gaurav’s showcase at the Animal Ball 2019 Hosted by The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall; one of the biggest Conservation x Fashion Event in London’s calendar. 24 fashion brands from the world over are invited to curate special limited edition animal-inspired masks and raise funds towards conservation of all Asia’s endangered.
Gaurav’s stores too are an extension of his inspirations – furthering his ‘future primitive’ design tag in the industry. He currently has 5 flagship stores in the country – at DLF Emporio and Mehrauli in New Delhi, Kala Ghoda in Mumbai, Banjara Hills in Hyderabad, and Galleria 1910 in Kolkata.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went into the store to buy my cocktail gown. I had found one online priced at 1 lakh. She said its not available because they only have expensive collection at their store and the one I found was 60k. I showed it on website, just to prove my point that its 1lakh. She said, she needs to take it down from the website. She also said, no alterations, fittings are offered on anything you buy from website or from their cheaper collection. She also focused on how everything in their store was so expensive. Miss! you dont know how much money I have or willing to spend. Stop calling things expensive for me. Utterly rude, abrasive and condescending behavior from the lady sitting on the laptop! It was my wedding gown, its always an experience and I will not let it get ruined. As a result left the shop asap, without even checking any other dress. And you know what? Never coming back.
Staff next door at Tarun Tahiliani was way courteous and better and so was his collection.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the lady staff members was so rude and condescending with us that it completely obliterated the fun out of our shopping experience @Gaurav Gupta's store here. Why do you have to show off "we only have expensive stuff in the store", when you said something factually incorrect, apologize, if the designs are different, its a different outfit, if the costs are different, say its different! Being stubborn and coming across as an ill-mannered only spoils your store, your brand.
When will you guys realize that shopping is an experience?
Treat your customers with respect and courtesy, that's the least you can do.
To the management, better hire trained staff so that they have some humility. Customers are the one's who buy your dresses, not your employees.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely disgraceful shopping experience!!! We had purchased a gown from this store in jan. The staff there is absolutely imperious and rude. Even after buying an expensive gown they did not have the courtesy to treat us properly. Especially the staff member Elizabeth who acted as if she was doing us a favour and provided disgusting customer service. She appeared rude and condescending, had a cold speech and her body language was disrespectful. It came across as a shock for us that even after paying for the gown they did not provide proper packaging and gave us a cheap carton instead. For the future customers, either choose a different designer or bear the sheer disdainful behaviour of gaurav gupta mehrauli staff.
