★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are 9 platforms in the Gaya Junction and the platform 10 is under construction. There is 1 Pilgrim Platform also, where the pilgrim train stops. The platforms are interconnected with foot overbridges. It has three foot overbridge, the station houses all the major facilities like waiting rooms, computerized reservation facility, food plaza, dormitory, retiring rooms, cafeteria, bookshop, etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited Gaya railway station once in 2011 and again in 2022. The narrow lanes leading to station are same, bustling with cars, bikes and rickshaws. One must plan to reach early as there is always a traffic jam around it. Rest rooms and canteen is available on Platform 1

But at present it has really evolved a lot in making it a destination place for other commuters to proudly travel the place bcs it is neat and clean, modernized and given justice to our ancient history Lord Gautam Buddha, I'll say to all Biharis, Indians and foreigners, give this place a try as this is fast evolving modern city of Bihar in terms of attractions and tourism.
