★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is situated near Vishnupad temple at Gaya, Bihar, India as is known for it's importance in hindu rituals. It is believed that mata Sita prayed for Moksha of king Dashrath, Bhagwaan Ram's father and offered Pinddaan here. She was the first woman who had done Pinddaan for her father in law in Hindu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its a holy place, take dip Falgu river and there are many Pandit ji who help to do pind daan. If an outsider coming to Gaya, from railway station its hardly 5-7 kms, can take any auto or taxi or ola or ricksaw to reach the place called Pitamaheshwar and take the samagri from any shop (managable rates not too high) and go to river directly. Very safe to go to river, mostly water will be nearly 1-2 feet. Pick any pandit, for safty decide the pandit ji rate before hand, should be nearly 1100 and below (its your wish to give more ofcourse). Pandit ji will all ritual, just follow his instructions and you are done. Please make sure to keep an eye on your belongings while taking bath in river as many people(thives) keep looking for such moments when they find any unattended items, they can take away, be cautitious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ceremony of pind daan by Pt. Gokul Dubey ji and his team was a great spiritualexperience. He told us all the rituals and their meaning and significance properly. He wasn't selling the package deal of rituals like some other pandit ji. He just said give dashina as per your will and accepted gracefully. He gave ample time and did the puja with utmost dedication. I highly recommend him for Gaya rituals.
