Had ordered for an APFC panel of 50KVAR. Had confirmed a thyrister based panel yet on delivery G.B. controls delivered a simple contactor based APFC panel due to which the PF (power factor) couldn't be achieved @0.99. We conveyed same to their service engineers but no difference in performance. This is an unethical way GB. controls have tried to falsely promote their product to get orders. Please be careful while dealing with the director Mr. Dhananjay Bhamare and get the specifications right in writing and reconfirm else the Rs.85,000/- is a sure waste of our precious money. Not at all happy with GB controls attitude of dealing nor performance of their products. Unethical company. Clients Beware!!!

Our power provider is Tata, so after MERC's order to fix an APFC panel to maintain power factor (PF) at 0.99 lead, on Tata powers insistence that this company being one of the best for APFC panels, we went for it. It was confirmed by director (Mr.Bhamare) that initially the order amount would be paid and bal. 50% after 1 month confirming performance of the APFC panel. After a month the PF was at 0.96 which was not upto the mark. After much persuasion to rectify same a service engineer was sent to change the settings of APFC panel by Mr. Rajendra Girase, the PF for next consecutive month was 0.97. Hence, when conveyed same to the respective service engineers the senior engineer confirmed that PF @0.99 cannot be achieved on contactor based APFC panel but can be achieved with a thyristor based APFC panel. Had this been confirmed by the director Mr. Dhananjay Bhamareji we would've had opted for a thyristor based APFC panel. We feel cheated as the engineers are confirming it 2 months after installation and arguing on same. Cost of 40kvar contactor based APFC panel is 50,000/- which is quite an amount and yet the performance isn't at par as claimed. Am not happy nor would recommend this company
