★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of Goa's oldest restaurant that's served authentic goan food. It was a favourite of my parents when they were in their teens. As a kid the mackerel rachado (stuffed with a spicy. Tangy red masala) was to die for. I visited it just out of old times sake. The masala in the rachado was okay but it did not hit the spot. Am giving a four as there were many famous dishes like their beef ginger stake which I never tasted and it's possible they might still be good. This restaurant is a heritage of goa so am not giving up yet I hope the owner reads it and steps up his game.

Food was ok not so great..
Found it pricey considering the quantity and quality of food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you still want to experience original Goa and it's cuisine, GEORGE is the place to go to. It still has the same childhood memories from 50 years ago and the same authentic stamp. It's old world charm still holds, in a place swamped by brutal commercialization. No frills, no fancy, just authentic food, served by cheerful smiling staff. Such a welcome relief in the Goa we still want to see.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely restaurant, right next to the Panjim Church. The food is good and authentic but looking at the quantity and service the food items are overpriced and expensive.
You can visit if you are looking to try some authentic goan cuisine.
The restaurant is small and cozy. A small group or a family can join in to enjoy the food.
As mentioned the food is good but comparatively it's expensive. They need to improve they service and the dining experience.
