Have been using their -10 sleeping bag for a year now. Very poor quality, doesn't keep you warm at even 1-2 degree. Do not recommend!

I bought a sleeping bag online from their website. I am very happy with the product I received but delivery time is little bit more than we are used to.

I had purchased Rain poncho 60L from Gipfel and it's really good in terms of fabric, design and PU coating. Overall it is far better than any other poncho that are selling/available on Amazon.

It's the first time I bought an Indian made tent that is not budget oriented. I contacted these guys after coming accross a post on Instagram with their tent and saw their distributor's website in Norway. So I bombarded them with tons of technical queries about their tents, and they were so nice and patient. I was going to buy a new tent and investing a lot of money, so I wanted to be sure that I was getting my money's worth. I finally decided to buy Gipfel Norra 2 ultralight tent. It is so similar to the Hilleberg Keron 2 tent I have bought many years back when my cousin was visiting from Sweden. I am so happy finally someone decided to make such world class tents in India. The textile you used on Norra 2 tent has very nice silicone coating, the kinda I only saw in European outlets. I used it on Goecha La trek once and I can't wait to take it out again. One thing, the weight of the tent was about 100 grams more than you have mentioned on website but it was not that big a deal anyways.

I asked them for a discount on a tent which they gave, but never informed me the product itself is not available and would take an eternity to ship. Placed the order for Kyra 2 (some 10,000 bucks after disc.) Took a whole month to get the tent after multiple follow ups, and by that time lockdown started and I couldn't start my trek/summer traverse. The owner apologised saying export raw materials weren't available (to which I said don't display the product on website if it's not in stock), and they offered a gift (portable burner) which didn't arrive with the tent, saying it is shipped separately (for some silly reason?)! It's been almost three weeks since then, haven't received it. But don't care about the gift, and please don't send it now. The most irritating thing has been the lack of communication and a certain sense of 'don't care about the customer' attitude. Each time, I had to follow up by writing an email, to get some sort of update/tracking code. They never gave any updates/explanations for delay on their own. Very disappointed with the overall customer experience with Gipfel (even after making allowances for the partial lockdown). I thought this company looked like a Rab or some lite-Patagonia, a first in India, but looks like just another lala Indian company without the requisite rigorous checks, processes and standards of customer satisfaction in place. Haven't got the opportunity to use the tent (Kyra 2, which had no warranty card) yet, because of all the delay. If you want to save yourself the hassle, buy Gipfel if you can see it with your eyes in a retail store. Or better still, stick with Decathlon, and then when you're ready to spend go for Rab/North Face/ proven Western brands etc. The online experience with Gifpel is not worth it I'm sorry to say!

Update: Revising my review to 1 star from 2 after the owner had the audacity to suggest they "wished I had the discretion to let them know before giving review". No one replies to my mails, I have in my sent mail. Caring about stars rather than customer service. Pathetic. Do not recommend ordering from their website at all! Original review: Very bad website. As there was no Cash on delivery option on the website, made the payments through card, money got deducted but order was not processed. Got my money back after 6 weeks, not ordering again!

I recently purchased Norra 2 tent from Gipfel and I'm impressed with the tent and quality of materials used.. comparable to international brands. The delivery was delayed and it took about 10-15 days but they replied to emails very proactively and were sincere about it. It's a new company making good quality tents. Definitely recommend! Looking forward to using my tent outdoors soon.
