★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best serene places. Went when no one was going. Love the place. Heavy snow at my time. Took off around 1:30 AM. Reached around 4:00 AM(in heavy snow).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very serene and calm place. One can trek from Khara Pathar to this place. Those looking for a challenging trek, can drive upto this place and then can hike to Kupper.
The temple is highly revered in the area.
Surrounding forests are very beautiful and the pollution free air adds to the experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While on the way to Rohru and Jungal there is a kutcha non metalled road around 5 to 6 kilometers from the right side after a few meters from Khara Pathar.There are old temples at Giri Ganga and scenic beauty is also attractive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful temple nestled in the lap of nature.
Surrounded with deodar trees and peacefully located in the centre of the mountains.
Famous with its name as one can read Giri Ganga... One can easily access this place from the main road through vehicle and also by foot. It's around 6.1 kms from the main road till the temple. Pure jungle ride and I suggest during rainy season one needs to get good vehicle 4X4 to avoid sticking in the mud as the road is raw and turns into mud and slippery.
One can take dips in the Ganga water here too.
Locals are mostly visiting the place almost throught the year but yes the roads get closed during winters due to heavy snowfall from december - February. I will not advise untrained drivers to drive on this road as it's a narrow road and hardly any margin for error.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very well known temple with rich heritage, good architecture, and fantastic location. It is a nice walk from the roadhead or one can drive. There's decent parking space for a dozen+ cars at the temple. The temple area itself is large. Must visit on the way to Rohru.
