It's a nice place to spend time, I went there couple of times, nice ambience, no charges to roam you just have to pay on the main lal Bagh gate per person some 30 rupees and then you can roam anywhere within, do visit here if you love greenery.

Nice place to spend quality time with family amidst the green cover. Crowded over the weekends but there are ample open areas to spread the carpet on the lawn. Decent parking facility, good amount of pay an use public toilets, lot of snack and refreshments kiosks available throughout the park. Park closes by 5.30pm but you can stay beyond until dark. Littering is evident, it is onus of the people to keep the park clean. Carry water bottles and be ready to walk the distance. Better place to go than the malls of Bengaluru.

Brief About: The Glass House, Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens, Bangalore, India. Proposed by John Cameron, Superintendent of the Botanical Gardens since 1874. Constructed 1889, and restored in 2004. Built to commemorate the visit to Bangalore of Prince Albert Victor, grandson of Queen Victoria, who laid the foundation stone. It was inspired by the Crystal Palace, although the layout has since been altered.
