★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little tourist place on the banks of the Assan Barrage Lake. Home to migratory birds in winter. Some water activities are available. Nice place to take a break en-route to or from Paonta Sahib.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Place needs doing up, boards have not been painted for last two years, there are spelling mistakes, roof has not been repaired since last year's when there was damage due to winds. Can be managed more professionally to project a good impression on visitors

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ideal for short trip from Dehradun. Great for family outing packed with boating, lazing under the sun and do have Pakoras and vegetable Maggi... Super! You can even think of staying a couple of days at the resort. The tariff is roughly Rs. 2500/ for a room or Rs.300/ per bed in dormitory.
Overall a good getaway option for Doonites!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful little spot in the midst of nature. Amazing views, a treat for bird watchers. Food is nice, service is just as a govt place. Not bad but not great either. A good stop near Ponta Sahib, can spend an hour or two. Have option of stay also, pretty decent rates.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible views of the wildlife sanctuary water body. This is a great place to stop by on your journey for a picnic lunch. We had our own food and used the restroom on the way out. Generally clean and well maintained.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location is advantage, forest behind and a lake infront, though. Boating is an activity though restricted to only small part of lake. They have got duplex cottage and two dormitories with attached toilets. Service are very slow. Food is ok.
01 night outing is fine.
