Goa Tourism Development Corporation(GTDC) is a Goa Government under-taking corporation meant to facilitate tourism in Goa. As everyone is already aware Goa is a an all time favorite tourist destination, having a good support from Govt. is a must to boost the tourism industry and economy and GTDC has been doing a good job in this direction for a long time now. What they do? GTDC is responsible for organizing Goa site seeing tours, Packages, Cruises and also have their own hotels and lodgings. They participate in all big Travel marts, exhibitions, Travel shows related to Tourism all over India, including WTM (World Travel Market) held every year in London. Hotels and residencies: Their hotels are located at the most scenic places and beautiful beaches in Goa. Beach Residencies: Calangute Residency(at Calangute beach), Miramar Residency(at Miramar Beach), Colva Residency(at Colva Beach) City hotels: Panjim Residency(Under Renovation at Panaji), Mapusa Residency(at Mapusa Town), Margao Residency(at Margao city), Vasco Residency(at Vasco town) Eco guest houses: Mayem Residency(at Mayem Lake) and Farmagudi Hill Retreat(at a quieter place in Farmagudi, Ponda) Heritage Hotels: Old Goa Residency(at Famous Old Goa) and Tiracol Heritage Hotel at Tiracol Fort. A little bit more about this: Though many Goan do not do this cruise as most of us almost daily pass by the amazing site of river Mandovi, however I did it with my wife and it was pretty romantic. This is huge hit with the domestic tourists. There are a few boats that do the Sunset Cruise at Panjim and Santa Monica is one of the famous ones. How/Where? They start usually by 6:00 PM from Panjim jetty and need a prior booking. The place gets crowded heavily and you may have stand in queue for some time. The tickets will cost you Rs. 300/- per head. What's on board? The cruise lasts a good hour or more and is great fun and entertaining, there is a music, local folk dances on board performing the traditional dances of Goa like Fugdi and Dekhni, Mando. Later they play some bollywood and other dance items which will enthrall the crowd to get up and dance. What to see? While on the cruise do not miss the sunset - which is spectacular! Make sure you take your camera. On the way also spot some majestic historical monuments like Reis Magos Church, the Reis Magos Fort, the Aguada Fort and the Cabo Raj Bhavan. Booking: Bookings can be done at any of the GTDC residencies, metioned above, on your arrival. or you may also purchase the tickets from the venue at Santa Monica Jetty, Panjim, below Mandovi bridge. It is a perfect weekend getaway for eternally busy Mumbaikars. Goa being the favorite holiday spot for foreigners and Indians alike innumerable hotels/ resorts/ home stays have come up in the recent years. But in order to enjoy your short vacation one needs to plan in advance especially if you are planning to visit during peak season/ festive time. GOA is seen at its best during Christmas and is the peak season for them. The best way to gift your family a tension free holiday is to approach the GTDC or Goa Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. GTDC plays an active role in all commercial aspects of tourism, right from providing accommodation to organizing sightseeing tours, cruises and other attractive packages. Ours was a short trip but a memorable one.

Located inside the Goa airport at the time of arrival. Located just near the arrival gate of the airport. Always crowded. People are not so friendly here not helpful as well. Better we can use internet to find the tourist spot informations. Overall not a worthy place to enquire about Goa tourism.

Always Use the KTC Busses which goes from Goa Airport to Calangute via panaji The is very low as compared to the private taxi and prepaid taxi is also very high. The KTC Busses fare for Panaji is Rs. 100 and For Calangute Beach is Rs. 150 only For AC Non stop Busses of Kadamba Transport.

Comparatively cheaper price than other hotels in goa। nice।

Goa International airport dabolim Vasco da Gama. It is a international airport, an Only way to enter Goa by Airways. This place has a nice view and airport it self is a best tourist destination. Actually this airport is a defense airport. You must take yo identify cards along with you in order to travel without any difficulty. This airport is guarded with lots of CISF. People travel from all over world to Goa, and why not Goa is so small and beautiful that once in a life everyone should seat here on the beaches.

New Airport is very good. I request Goa Tourism to make a Smoking Zone outside the Airport as inside is too small and too many people in it. And since it's centralized A/c the exhaust is barely working.

It was a great time here in goa. Local tourism department is so helpful and supportive.
