★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I buried my mother here on December 30th, 2018; the staff here is nice and cooperating but the ground management system is non-existent.
Graves aren't marked, so, after a year it's almost impossible to mark or remember which area is to be dug and which area is occupied for stipulated period.
Though it's a burial ground, still, Hindus have a ritual of "mukhagni" - this facility isn't available here, you have to take your own priest along with you if you want to do this.
Most important of all, if you're a small family, please take a few helping hands with you as there's no people to help you lift, hold & place the body in the dug out pit; they just dig it for you, that's all.
I've visited the place twice within the month following burial, I faced no problem visiting my mother's grave. Since no permanent structure is allowed to be built over the grave, so, recognizing the spot will be difficult after six months or a year.
Burial charge, registration etc. is Rs. 100/- only; they give you original and authentic coprporation death certificate after burial.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have visited this place during a burial of my friend's father who passed away. This is a hindu burial ground where only passed away hindu people will be buried. This place is situated in topsia. If you are coming from ultadanga, you have to take right from the science city crossing.
