★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ଗାଁର ନାମ ସୁକୁଣ୍ଡା , ଶିବଙ୍କର ନାମ ଗୋକଣ୍ଣେଶ୍ୱର , ଅଷ୍ଟ ଶମ୍ଭୁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଅନ୍ୟତମ । ମହୁରୀ (ବ୍ରହ୍ମପୁର ଉପ ଖଣ୍ଡର ପୂର୍ବ ନାମ) ରାଜାଙ୍କ ଦ୍ଵାରା ଏହା ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା। ସବୁବେଳେ ଭକ୍ତଙ୍କ ଭିଡ଼ ,ପର୍ବପର୍ବାଣୀ ଦିନ ମାନଙ୍କରେ ଅଧିକ। ଏକ ସୁନ୍ଦର ପରିବେଶ, ପାଖରେ ସୁକୁଣ୍ଡା ମଠ (ନରସିଂହ ମନ୍ଦିର) ଅଳ୍ପ ଦୂରରେ କେରାଣ୍ଡିମାଳ ପର୍ବତର ମନୋରମ ଦୃଶ୍ୟ ଦେଖିବାକୁ ମିଳିଥାଏ।

Being a part of ASTASAMBHU, this temple establishes it's importance among disciples of Lord Siva. It is not so overcrowded like other Siva temples. It is situated at outskirts of Brahmapur city(Sukunda village). The temple authorities are quite friendly. Though a small temple, but it is important. Disciples are requested to visit this divine place.
