★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Food Joint is 40 years old. And I am now 35. Being a localite from my childhood I knew only this shop as a so called RESTAURANT. That time there was no any other food joint here in Kudghat. When our results of Annual Examination were out, me and my two cousin brothers were got treat with Golden Egg's Fish Rolls, Fish Fries, Egg Rolls, Chicken Rolls, Mughlai Parathas (the best that I have ever) etc. Whenever my mother's cousin sisters, my 'Maashis' (lived in Ballygunge Place) visited our home they demanded to have only Golden Egg's 'bhajapora' (snacks).
Now Me or my cousins are away from home for our jobs and get back to home once or twice in a year, but we visit atleast once to have Golden Egg's food. ("Aaj tahole Golden Egg hoye jaak?" ??)
The taste of the food is same till now but they have curtailed their options.
*Golden Egg* is like some waves of Nostalgia to me,sorry to many of us. ?
