★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small place ...seats around 40 maximum. The food is the standard Cafe Goodluck fare. The service is polite and swift.
The only point preventing me from giving a five star is that the place is open and has no air-conditioning. Thus in summer it can be really uncomfortable.
Some must haves here are the mutton kheema and the bun jam maska

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bizarre experience at this cafe. I visited for the second time in a month. Loved the vibe during my earlier visit hence thought of visitng again. I ordered for a tea and as soon as I was done with the miniature cutting chai in 10-15 minutes, the waiter shoved the bill at me. I ignored it thinking maybe it's their policy to offer the bill as soon as you order something to avoid confusion. I had planned on ordering food after some time. But the waiter came to me again asking to make the payment and hinting at me to get up and leave the cafe as they wanted to join the tables. I was shocked to observe such treatment. Point to note, their cafe was only 30% occupied. I completely understand why they would not want to entertain a customer if he is not ordering anything, but here I was just done with my tea and was planning on ordering a meal. You could've asked me to sit somewhere else or you could've just told me that since you have only ordered tea, we can't allow you to sit for more than x minutes and that needs to be consistent and not on your mood. I saw other tables with no food and people were sitting and chit chatting. Once I got up and told the waiter how this entire thing seemed bizarre to me he mentioned that you only ordered tea so we can't let you sit any more. But you never told me that while shoving the bill on my face. I would've ordered some food. Too bad that your tea costs only 30 bucks. I was willing to pay more and sit there and relax. Why would I want to order anything from your cafe if I'm treated this way. Maybe you are getting a lot of regular customers but you just lost one potential regular customer today. Hope noone else is treated this way again.
Ps- I ordered food worth 400 bucks during my first visit. Luckily they didn't ask me to leave that time. Thank you mr. Waiter for letting me stay earlier and not asking me to leave. Means the world to me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Goodluck cafe is a Pune boutique Iranian eating joint and now run by 4th generation. Amazing food and simple in nature. Keema and pao are my most favourite. In breakfast try masala omlette, maska pao and great team. Absolutely yummy stuff. One of the partners now started one in Baner, opposite to star bazar. Cozy place and there is parking so not a problem.

Nice, small, cozy place. Variety of omelettes and bun maska are quite good.
Tea taste can be a bit better like other Irani chai joints, but still good. Location is good, not too crowded, ample parking space available. Recommended for quick bun bites.
