β β β β β Staff is so boisterous and imposing that they keep keep barging and asking "do you want more" every 2 minutes. The feeling is as if they want to push you out as soon as possible. Strange unwelcome sort of behavior.
Food is tasty, but couldn't enjoy it due to the continuous disturbance of service staff. Also felt unsafe as 3 of the staff including the cashier were coughing.

β β β β β Gopi Dinning Hall offers Gujarati and kathiyawadi lunch and dinner. It is one of the famous food joint serving delicious gujarati food. I recommend to go for fix thali if you HV average appetite as the quantity in fix thali is more than enough for one person.
Rates are reasonable. Food is tasty but if we compare to other dining halls of western part of Ahmedabad, it's Okay ish.
Service, cleanliness and ambiance is good.

I gave 4 stars because of good handling ethics, covid 19 precautions taken properly by the hotel management.
Big space for parking is available, waiting area also available next to the hotel enterance.
Very professional and polite staff members having such cool dress code.
All modes of payment are available.
Very well maintained and well interior.
Limited space but clean and hygiene.
Good for small functions,

Gujarati and kathiyavadi food available on limited and unlimited bases.
Delicious food and mouth watering sweets are really appreciated.
Little bit costly but good family restaurant.

β β β β β It was a great experience at this place. Firstly place is so peaceful and soft music makes it more of nice place. I think Best Gujrati thali in ahmedabad. Hospitality was so good, they serve you like they are serving there own family guest. Mango juice was awesome.
They keep maintain social distance between tables. This food was so good and healthy.
Price are reasonably heigher side as they charges 330 for unlimited Gujrati thali.

β β β β β One of the oldest and the best for tasty kathiyawadi thali. They serve Gujarati thali too. The taste has remained consistent through more than 2 decades that I have been eating here. Never fails to satisfy.

β β β β β The first thing that youβll observe once you reach Gopi Dining hall is the simple setup. Itβs one of those restaurants which has just the bare minimum things to call it a restaurant. True to its essence, Gopi Dining hall just serves Gujarati and Kathiyawadi Thali. One thing you must note (if you are visiting for the first time) is that the location of Gopi Dining Hall on Google Maps is incorrect.
Gopi Dining hall serves only Gujarati and Kathiawadi thali, the former for lunch and the latter for dinner only. One thing youβll immediately note is the pricing. They have βweirdβ pricing in my opinion. The most basic Gujarati thali costs Rs 280 which is limited, the unlimited thali is Rs 330. The catch is it doesnβt include sweets. You pay Rs 360 for 1 sweet and Rs 390 for 2 sweets. I donβt know the reasoning behind this, but thatβs how it is. I took the full thali with two sweets.
One thing that I truly loved about this Gujarati thali was that there was no Paneer curry in this thali. It was a proper, authentic Gujarati thali. We had Aloo sabzi, a bottle gourd curry, one with lobia, a Palak subzi and finally the traditional sweet dal and Kadhi. When compared to Gujarati Thali at Gordhan Thal, this is more authentic without any bells and whistles (no Paneer curry, no fancy starters etc.) The food is delicious. Youβll get authentic Gujarati flavours, thatβs guaranteed. Even the service is good and quick.

β β β β β One of the oldest Gujarati thali restaurant in Paldi area. Taste is OK. Hostpitality is good. Ambience is also OK. Nothing special which could be the reason to visit this place again.. 360/- for unlimited thali with sweet dish is little bit higher.. compare to their menu
