May be others like but now days we hv so many options available I don’t see why anyone would pay 1000 buck for goriawala May be they have a name but they need to change with time

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even after so many years, their cake still tastes exactly the same. Which is just what you would want. The cakes are soft and creamy. I know there are many new cake shops in town, but these can never be forgotten. Years back this was the only cake to get for all our birthdays.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It has been a tradition in my house to buy our birthday cakes from Goriawalla's. My mum got all her birthday cakes from here, and now we do (more than 30 years) ! I can vouch for the fact that Goriawalla's cakes are simply put, the BEST I've ever had. No other fancy bakery can ever compete with the taste of the cakes baked here. This bakery is a perfect example of how consumers ultimately give precedence to taste over fancy-looking, average cakes, and the fact that it has stood the test of time, is a testimony to it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was once an exclusive home style cake(rie) if I may say so. Serving home made classic chocolate cake which would melt in mouth. It was absolutely popular in South Mumbai.
Recently something seems amiss, prices have gone up with inflation, but cakes don' t feel like yesteryears classic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My high regards for Goriawala's cake has come to an end. Its cake is mediocre at best. Surely many better options in SOBO and rest of Mumbai. Their policy of not refunding or replacing cakes, leaves bad taste in customer's mouth.
