I bought a ceiling fan for Rs. 1250, but he gave a cash memo of Rs. 1350.
One week after I visited him to buy one more fan same as the first one, now he demanded Rs. 1350 showing reference of the cash memo of the first fan.
I paid him Rs. 1350.
The second fan proved to be a manufacturing defect, where by the fan's bearing was jammed thereby the fan was not rotating at all.
I went to his shop and requested him to replace the fan as it was having a manufacturing defect.
He agreed.
But when I visited him to take delivery of my fan, he presented me the same fan as repaired.
I denied to take the repaired fan.
On my argumentation he phoned the fan manufacturer Orient's representative.
Orient's representative also stood by his side.
I asked the Orient's representative to let me talk to some higher orient's official.
The senior official also took side of the dealer.
Left with no option whatsoever, I asked the Orient's higher official and the dealer Gauri Electrical, to keep the fan and my money both in his pocket and assume the fan to be a gift from my side.
On this, the Orient's higher official talked to the dealer Gauri Electrical on phone and then the dealer agreed to replace the fan on the next day.
Thus I got a fan replacement after a couple of days.
During the whole issue, the dealer Gauri Electrical imposed me numerous false allegations and was lying on each and every aspect.
Beware while dealing with him.
