The campus is so beautiful with many colours plants. This college is under sambalpur university now. Both boys and girls hostel facility is available here. Special attraction is the khuael(ΰ¬ΰΰ¬ΰ¬²) jatraa.

β β β β β This College was founded by the dynamic, enterprising and visionary District magistrate of Sundargarh Sri A.L. Nair with the help of generous donations from the enthusiastic public, the college saw the light of day on 07 February, 1958. Thus it fulfilled the long felt need for higher education among the tribal, socially backward and economically deprived sections of the society in the region.The college area is very large but there is lack of development even though it's a complete government institute. But somehow it is developing slowly now. For +2 students all the three stream i.e.Science , Commerce and Arts are available here to study. In science stream there is no computer science (IT) subject here. Inplace of computer science subject there is Geology optional subject for science students,those who donot want to take biology, they can adopt Geology as optional subject. Some +2 teaching faculties are good but some are also very lazy to teach and they don't even complete the syllabus. It all depends on the hard work of students to get success. But for a financially weak student this college best for studying. The cost of study expenditure is very less as it is a totally government recognized institution. It is affilated by Sambalpur University. I think for +3 students in this locality it is one of the best college to study. This college is very popular for Geology Subject. Many of our +3 students cracked IIT JAM exam and got admission in various IITs. Teaching Faculties for +3 students are excellent. Along with +2 and +3 there is PG and B.Ed are also here.
