Government Degree College Gadagusain - Suketi
Shikari,Talokpur & Fatehpur are popularly known as “Teen Kothi area” of the Kullu District of Himachal Pradesh is remarkable for its scenic beauty, healthy climate and pure environment. There are many primary and secondary educational institutions in this area but the need for a Degree College was being felt for long times. Consequently on a historic day in 2014 while addressing a public meeting at Gadagusain, Sh. Virbhadra Singh Ji, the former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh announced the opening of a Degree College in Gadagusain Area of Kullu District. The local people constituted a Land Acquiring Committee which worked tirelessly and nearly 33 Bighas of land surrounding the HPPWD rest house was allotted for the construction of the college complex.
