β β β β β I tried a lot to get the information on how to publish name change & religion change in Gazette, but could not succeed. Agents are asking from 10 to 15000, which is huge amount for an ordinary person. I tried to call office to get information about format and procedure, but no response. So, this office is worst like other Government office. There is no tracking status online & no reply system, if any additional document required like passport. If once payment made, I won't get it back. So, I don't give even a single star rating for this one of the worst offices in India.

β β β β β This place is for gazzete listing and office of name change and correction. If you want to publish something in gazzete you need to go there.
Before you go there for name correction or name change do vist the office prior and they will at the counter provide relative documentation required for you, do not undertake doc correction on your own. There is a office near the tea stall which does this file work they are undertaking all this file work and genuine price. So once you receive the performa give at the counter of dept of publication ,take it to the office near the tea stall they can provide you with relavant documents. I did a correction in my name the fee at the office was 1400.

β β β β β This is located at nearby Delhi vidhansbha. Nearby vidhansbha metro station. Timing is 10:00am to 4:00pm and lunch break 1:00pm to 2:00pm.

Take as many original ID documents with you as possible. W/O, D/O, ADHAAR, VOTER CARD, EDUCATION DOCS, document with wrong name, document with correct name.
...and debit card for payment.
There is a samosa (uttam) shop nearby where printouts, Xerox and other related services are available.

β β β β β Good experience, no need to appoint any Agent for publication advertisement in Gazette Notification through Publication Department, GOI. Officials available on the windows are provided full information in details and also guide step by step. My advertisement was published within 11 days without any hassle. I recommend to the visitors to follow information/steps provided by the Department on the website first.

β β β β β People reached early in morning to get their work done. Be polite and honest to the staff and they will guide you thouroughly. No need to give your work to agents, they will overcharge you in the name that your work will get completed in just one visit and without any hassle, don't fall for them. I got gazette notification in 14 working days.
Sitting arrangement is there, parking place is not there but it is not an issue, you can park vehicle near the office.
