About Government Polytechnic Sonipat
The Government Institute of Engineering, Sonepat has been functioning under different names and styles since 1942. It was started by the Defence Department to improving the quality of Surgical Instruments, which were supplied to the Defence Department. In the post war phase, the function of this organization changed to bring about development in the field of manufacture of Surgical Instruments and Appliances. With the partition of India, the function were further enhanced to that of a training Institution with a view to feed the industry with specialized personnel at supervisory and artisan level.

I love this college it have adequate amount of facilities which a student need in a college especially in govt one
The infra is quite good
The teacher somehow a bit rude but for sure they will b generous and appreciate u in the last semester....why not from 1st?
The college have a good hostel food is good in mess for morning and lunch...the dinner is ridiculous
There are enough lab and big class room to accommodate students are campus is huge
