★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Searched for a nearby library, for reading ,as felt so bored by sitting and browsing at home.Based on clues from Google map,I headed for the nearest one,Government library Yelahanka.I found the location, only after making number of inquires ,but none in the locality seems to know about its existence.
I was shocked what I saw.A small wire fenced yellow colored building, not bigger than a shop,which was closed from outside.outside, on the front door the timing was written 0800-1000 ,0400-0600.It was adjacent to the government school. The library compound was full of dry leaves and papers ;seemed like a junkyard. A pile of unopened letters were piled in the small portico.I searched for a board,then there is indeed a Bord in Kannada, hidden behind the foliage, grown over the small building.I went to the adjacent government school, and asked the teachers, who said ,they're not sure whether it functions now a days,as none of there students visit there.They also said,their is no other library ,in the locality.
