They are offering many facilities for students overall growth like sports, library, fully Wi-fi campus, hostel facility etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The GovernmentCollege of Education (C.T.E.), Banipur is a famous Teachers’ Training College for Secondary School teachers. It was established in 1948. The college has a long history being the first Teachers’ Training College in the district of North 24 Parganas.
Sargent Commission Report was the best known for the “Post War Educational Development in India”. Sargent Plan was a terminal point and capstone of educational development prior to independence. One of the important recommendations of this Commission was the establishment of Teacher’s training colleges both for graduate and under graduates.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Govt. College of Education (C.T.E.), Banipur is one of the six govt. teachers' training colleges in West Bengal. Here, the 2-year B.Ed. course (regular mode) is affiliated to WBUTTEPA and recognized by the NCTE. At present, the total intake is 50 students per academic year. During the admission counseling, huge number of applications are received across West Bengal.
The professors and staffs are very helpful and supportive. The ambience and calm atmosphere of this place are often compared with Shantiniketan.
Separate hostels for both boys and girls are available here. Being a govt. establishment, the college campus is well protected. One can avail toto/van/auto for Ashoknagar railway station as well as Habra 1 no. railgate/Habra railway station for ₹10.
