What could be more divine than receiving education in God's own land 7 Village Panarsa, the gateway to famous Kullu Valley, the valley of Gods, situated at the right bank of river Vyas, 25 Kms from Kullu and 45 Kms from Mandi on NH-21, with spectacular Himalayan mountain chain and the famous historical Prashar lake in its backdrop, surrounded by extensive orchards, vegetation and sylvan beauty is an ideal place for an Institution of higher learning.

It is a great blessing to have a degree college here in such a perfect, peaceful and congenial environment and the opening of an Institution of higher learning the long-cherished dream of the natives has come true. Govt. Degree college Panarsa, established in June 2015, has been opened with a sole purpose leto fulfil the aspirations and opening up new vistas of knowledge for the youth and especially the girls for whom college education was a mere dream before and now they have an access to knowledge at their doorstep. At present, the college offers a graduate programme in Arts and commerce.

In the very second year after its opening the total number of students has exceeded from 218 to 324, 105 to 120 boys and 113 to 160 gles and presently the no of students is 341. The overwhelming response of the youth has justified the establishment of new college in this rural set up.

Though at present, the Institution is being run in a make-shift accommodation in the premises of Govt School Four rooms in the same building on the first floor are ready for use and the infrastructure is adequate to meet the present strength. The school authorities provide full co-operation.

The school playground is open to college students as well For a campus of its own, a piece of land has been identified and the process is underway for the transfer of this land to the Education department and as and when this process complete the construction of new building will start the first wer aware of the schemes for students being implemented and various other developmental activities undertaken from time to time.

The NSS unit body of Parents-Teachers Association(PTA) has also been constituted as parents be made of the college has been functional since Dec 2017. A few books from the Directorate of Higher Education have also been supplied for the use students. College Student Central Association(CSCA0 was formed purely on the merit basi for the session 2016 17. (Sargam) CSCA function was organised for first time m Feb 2018. The college ams to provide quality equality and up tradition of knowledge with the fastevolving cut petitions and challenges of life students are expected to make mostolrtheir timein this temple of learning and en seine determined confident and evilted cities of tomorrow It is expected that they fulfil the individual aspirations as well as the aspirations of the society at large and the day is not far off when this college will be ranked among the best college.
