Govt. Degree College Rewalsar District Mandi (H.P.) has been notified vide Govt. Notification EDN-A-Ka (1) 1/2014, dated 15th January, 2014 and made functional w.e.f. June, 2014. The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh has already laid down the foundation stone for the construction of Govt. Degree College Rewalsar on dated 27th Feburary 2014. This is vide letter No.EDN-A-Ka(3)-02/2014 dated 24th September , 2014 Govt. of Himachal Pradesh has already given administrative approval of 5 crore and total expenditure sanctioned of 3 crore for the construction of college building.
The total more than 25 bighas of land at two places at the distance of approximately 400 meters in the name of Education Department has been proposed to be segregated & earmarked for Govt. Degree College Rewalsar .Presently, the Govt. Degree College, Rewalsar is running its classes in the shelter accommodation provided by G.S.S.S. Rewalsar.
