★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Goddess Kali at Kalighat is majestic but the Pandas there are not. They are worst than the beggars and adopt all the means to block your views to see the Goddess unless their palms are greased. Instead I would rather advise people to visit Dakshineshwar where in spite of serpentine queue one can have the Darshan of Goddess Kali within 10-15 minutes. SRINATH from Chennai who visited the temple on the 1st and then again on the 10th of February 2011
