First time tried this from their old shop near Mitha Bazar. Halwa is really delicius no doubt katlama is like ok type. Price i feel its costly one 500/Kg with 1 full poori along that. For 1/2kg it cost around Rs.250 with half poori along that.

The only place in Jalandhar where you can get Pakistani delicacy Kadaah Katlama. I got a chance to try this dish at a wedding and fell it love with it instantly. After that I got to know that there is a person who makes it in Jalandhar and he is the sole Katlama maker with monopoly. With high hopes, I went to try it. After struggling to find his shop in tight streets, I finally reached here and tried it out. To be frank, they were not close to my expectations, the ones I had in that marriage function were far superior in taste and texture (sadly i don't remember the name of the vendor). But you can try it once because it is rare and different. But remember that you can only reach here by foot or two wheeler.

I tried this place in someone’s recommendation. It’s was a bit of struggle to find this place. But while getting there you get see the busy narrow streets and markets which has the beauty of its own. The vendor gave me a sample of Kadaah Katlama before I ordered one. He was nicely spoken and gave me the insights how they’re the only one in the area to make that Pakistani β€˜Kadaah’. It’s was nice but not as per my expectations. But I’ll recommend this place to try at least once.
