According to the place the station is perfect. It has the basic amenities like water, public toilet, dual sheds in each of the two stations. It also has wheelchair access. Small shops r there on the stations. Only trains between Sealdah and Bongaon run through here.

Calm and peaceful station. An over bridge that need maintenance. So you have to cross the over bridge every time you have to cover a great distance changing platforms. Busy and crowded in office hours. Water points and toilet need urgent attention. Infested by hawkers and various stalls.. The rail gate is very close. The road to reach the platform is in a pathetic condition. a small garden to add beautification of the platform.
