★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a junction for communication. Four ways meet here. Westward crosses the level crossing and leads to Tarakeswar,via Dashghara. That way touches the border of Burdwan district 7 km away.
The eastward road , rt no. 23 heads to Chinsurah, via Mogra, Bandel.
Another one is the station road. It is a 2 minutes walk to reach the station. Ticket counter falls this side and buses reach the station this way. Famous Kali Puja of Gurap is held in the statoin ground.
There is ATM if SBI at Beltala.

There are many important shops in this place.
The other way goes to Gurap market and then to famous Nandalal temple, residence of KESHAB CH. NAG, and Gurap R K Institution, and Community Hall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Crowded place.Always chance of accident as it is junction of roads.One going towards bazar one towards Gurap station one towards Tarakeswar one towards Chinsurah.In the morning you can get different fresh fishes at reasonable price.There are variety of shops.There is a shopping mall Swachha Bazar here.
