You dont need to go ladkh to see buddhist culture if you live near by mainpat!
And most of all its high time we appreciate was local for us then finding things in other state!
Its a must visit place in mainpat!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Tibetan monestary is located in Mainpat ( Shimla of Chhattisgarh)
- Very beautiful architecture and design
- Quiet and peaceful environment
- Very less crowded
But
- No maintenence at all : pigeons have ruined a section of the area
- Cracks in building and dust in premises reflect the lack of attention to the beautiful and colorful holy monument
Overall, if you are in mainpat do visit this Buddha Temple (monastery), it's one of the main attractions.
Also a lot of Tibetans are settled in this area so you'll see a lot of culture here.
