Please don't visit if 5star amenities are needed. It's basic and extremely satisfying if u intend to detox and be close to nature. Come here compromising the luxury aspect of your travel and this place wont disappoint you. Ask for sandeep driver of gypsy and guide Manoj at the Vatanvasa gate. Very well trained staff will be at your service. Amount for hiring a gypsy for a day is around Rs.4500 including driver charges and Rs.800 for guide. Apart from that rest house booking is done at the corbett website. Also do carry basic food ingredients. The cook Santosh is awesome.. He will cook you food that will give u camping vives. I would recommend this place as its less commercialized than other areas of jim corbett. Hence there are less people and more of wild life.

Toilet passable. Cook is wonderful n versatile. Makes finger licking dishes. All in all, a welcome getaway from Delhi .
N	Neha Kapur on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed here for two nights and did four jungle safari's. We booked the rest house( approx. 8k for two days). We paid 12.5 k for all four safaris plus 2 k to the nature guide for two days. There is no separate safari permit required if u r staying at frh . As informed in previous reviews one has to carry their own ration. Santosh the cook will make whatever you ask him to make. We expected the rest house to be basic, but is was very unhygienic. Bed sheets, pillow covers, towels and curtains are not washed. Toilets were pathetic with very less water supply. Overall location was very good, scenic and peaceful. Most of the safari route are not well maintained. They will take you on usual route everyday. But I will still recommend it because it is untouched, dense and serene jungle.
