★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had booked a flat in a society (exotica fresco) through a broker, unfortunately that deal didn't go through because the owner did not want to have bachelors in the flat (some next level of discrimination). When i asked the broker to return the token amount he started making up stories saying he'd transferred the money to the owner (I spoke to the owner and he denied it), that he'd given it to another broker and would return it soon and all sorts of nonsense.
After 1 month, 40 calls and a visit to the local police station he still had only returned half the money to me. He'd starting talking very rashly and didn't seem to want to return the money. He blocked one of my numbers and even when he'd pick up he would ask me to "cut the call".
After asking around at supertech society using his photo i got to know that he worked at Happy homes. I visited their office and met Mr Harish and informed him of my ordeal. He assured me that i would get my money and not to worry. An hour later i got a call from the broker who was now talking very decently and said he would paytm me the money. Mr Harish was very helpful and pleasant to talk to and i would definitely recommend going through Happy Homes if you want to get a flat in any of the nearby societies.
