I had really long hair and needed a change so I decided to donate 12/13 inches of it and go short.
Booked an appointment for cut and colour with Avani.
They knew all the procedures needed to be done to donate hair I didn’t have to explain anything to them!
Even for my hair colour I was a bit apprehensive since it was a big change and I wanted it to be subtle/not too ‘out there’. Avani made me feel at ease and I left it up to her to do the magic!
Avani and her team are very professional,polite and friendly they are really passionate about hair and it shows. I’ve never seen a hairdresser trying to perfect a certain haircut like Avani did. Now I have the most perfect looking Bob ?
I’ve seen other professional salons trying to sell you expensive hair care products but not here! Avani
Whatsapped me a custom message about products I must use with a lot of alternatives and how I must take care of my hair.
Happy in the head stands true to its name and hype ? can’t wait to get back to Mumbai for a colour refresh ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got to know about this place through Instagram. I would always look at their page and get so tempted to try vivid colors on my hair. Finally, one day with a lot of courage I booked an appointment for my hair color. My hair stylist - Sasha was so amazing! She gave me amazing recommendations. Understood exactly what I wanted. I am very happy with the final look. A lot of people told me that they are expensive but I think they charge for the skill that the stylist brings to the table, the vibe of their salon and the good quality products they use.
If you are looking to try something different, this is the place for you :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in for a hair cut and colour. I went in with a rough idea of the end product and some reference photos taken from their IG. My hair-stylist was Chaitali and I’m in love with what she did for me! She’s a real artist and she thoughtfully and carefully gave my hair particular attention and love! The process was long but Chaitali patiently answered all my questions and assuaged all my fears about care, longevity and fade. It was really easy to spend 7-8 hours at the salon surrounded by the most adorable cats and dogs and really talented women going about what they do with humour, love and warmth. Chaitali also gave me her number and recommended products and routines to maintain my new hair, I really appreciated that! I highly highly recommend Happy In The Head, you’ll definitely walk out happy in the heart!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They are an experienced and talented bunch. Vibe of the salon is chill with few cats and dogs walking around and some music playing.
It did burn a small hole in my pocket money wise, however I am extremely satisfied with experience.
Chaitali was my stylist and she did a fab job. Plus she is a kind and fun person to talk to. Unlike other salons where they make you feel bad about how you look to sell you more services, she was very sweet and didn't do any of that.
I would definitely recommend this place. :)
