You are given bilva leaf with flower.
Later after the abhishegam, at 8:30 p.m. the archakas pour 2 bags full of sugar to bring the linga above earth. They decorate Mahabaleshwara and do mangalarthi. At that time 2 rows of lamps were lit by the devotees. 2 rows of bells are rung. Classical music is also was played by the temple musicians. It was a very fulfilling experience.
