The last two continue to thrive. Cotton milled at the Purana Mill Compound was exported around the world. The chief articles of commerce are sugar and grain. Hathras is now notable for: HoliColour and Gulal skin powders, the manufacture of ready made garments, chemicals, carpet manufacturing, artificial Moonga-Moti pearls, brass, artware and hardware, edible oil, metal handicrafts and beverages.

This track supports only disel trains not electric trains due to which passenger trains are very less. This station is near bazaar or market due to which traffic is common but eatables are easily and readily available.
K	Kanishk Kain on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trains available for cities : Mathura, Kasganj, Kanpur, Bandra, Agra etc. There are very few trains running on this station so the station is mostly empty. Beware of monkeys on the station.

It serves to the city of hathras and nearby villages. station is having good facilities. Ample of food and snacks outlets. Station is not so neat and clean.
