★ ★ ★ ★ ★ RM had no clue about the questions asked. Despite wanting to meet the Branch manger and fixing an appointment, didn’t get any revert. Was not informed about the yearly cc charges as RM too had no knowledge. RM was extremely rule and horrible to deal with.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The account support person assigned to me gives ONLY excuses each time any assistance is required. Even when you are in the branch, you can see employees trying to push work off on each other and complaining about the work in front of the customers! The branch manager Atul Chawla acts like he is doing you a favour by answering calls or doing his job. Bank policies are designed to harass customers. NRI account holders are asked to VISIT THE BRANCH for any issues!! I want to understand the logic behind these policies! I have been a client with HDFC for over a decade and have only seen standards slipping constantly. The customers are treated like they are uneducated and helpless. I was told that I HAVE to visit the branch during the pandemic! I am a preferred customer with HDFC and I regret staying with this bank for so long.
Edit: The email address listed in their automated response is NOT AVAILABLE! I actually wrote an email and it bounced back. If that doesn't show you the state of things at this bank, I don't know what will. See image attached for evidence!

I am holding an account with this bank. The will charge hidden charges against your account and will never tell you. The mastermind is their branch head. i would like to request you all to please cross verify your statement every month. If you will request them further, they people will say we cant reverse this is our system fault or policy. Pathetic services and pathetic bank.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely disgrace in the name of HDFC Banking. Had to chase them around to open a bank account and deposit funds for over a month. They ignore all your calls and if you visit the branch they mention that they can not do anything as it is with the internal team

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Branch staffs are not helpful. I went to cash a cheque and waited in line for around 30 minutes. I have met an accident and was walking with support of stick, if they make me stand even in handicapped situation, guess what they do to normal people.
There was no rush, no queue. Also branch manager was not available at that time to complain.
As some other user said, they are disgrace in the name of HDFC bank.
Rating 3 star because of Cash Deposit machine that is functional half the time.
If someone from HDFC reading this, your person are more like Government employee those just care about their timings (not all govt employees to this).
