However, it also needs dry atmosphere for proper flowering and fruit setting in higher reaches (above 7000 feet) where the apple plants are still in pink bud stage or king bloom. It all starts and ends at farmers for us. Helping farmers to grow the best crop, sell their produce at best price, and then get the best value to re-do it all again with big smile and satisfaction over years, is what we wish to achieve with our initiative of Orchards to Home.
Our farmers and their orchards are spread across the hills of Himachal with major crop produce coming from regions of Shimla, Kullu, Sirmour, Mandi, Chamba, & Kinnaur. Often remote and disconnected, these orchards and their farmers faces difficulty to break the barrier of series of middlemen which actually absorbs almost 80% of profitability coming from final price at which end consumer buys it. I'm sorry to say that I was totally disappointed
with the quality of the apples.
They weren't fresh, red in color and had brown black spots. The skin wasn't firm ,looked as if
it had fallen.
On the whole, not a good experience.
Sorry to say this, but I need to bring it to your knowledge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Apple consignment received is short of three numbers. Two dozen Apples were ordered and I got the Parcel with top corner portion damaged and patched with brown Cello tape. On inspection Three Apples were found missing from the damaged top portion. Please take urgent action to replace the damaged consignment or refund the amount.
Also take step to prevent such theft in the Courier service in future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Apple quality is not that extraordinary which said in their advertisement. Farm to home apples are good but does not save your money. Same quality apples are available at market place and may lesser price .
Courier company delivered thru another local courier company. Original courier company is not in position to help once it's handed. Original courier company should advice contact details in the chain

Delivery was done smoothly. Coming to the quality of apples then i must say it came as said. Apple dirwct from the farm came out to be just so Crispy, sweet and the aroma of apple is sweet and fresh. Trust me the texture and flavour of the fruits which are fresh from farms is clearly better than what i used to buy from my local markets. Maybe local fruits are not fresh as apple in cold storage survives upto a year also. Sharing few photographs from Apple orchards of Himachal I visited last year.
