Himachal Holidays - New Delhi

My two cents. Don't travel in Himachal Holidays Volvo. Myself and family (with kids) booked tickets in this bus on 23rd May 2018 from Manali to Delhi. As per the notification, the bus is supposed to start at 4PM from Manali. The problem started from beginning. The bus did not start until 5:30PM. For the entire bus, there’s only one attendee who’s the driver. He is the same person checks the passengers, helps to load the bags in the basement compartment, drives the bus.. all in all. I don’t think this is allowed as per the RTO rules. Especially when the driving terrain such as Himachal where you find lot of hairpin curves and sharp turns and steep climbs. There was no one to guide the driver in these situations. Anyway.. When I boarded the bus (4 passengers), we had four bags. Since the luggage space is less in the seating area, we thought to keep those in the bottom compartment. We always do that. However to my surprise the ‘all in all’ person has charged Rs.20/ per piece. I’m the one who kept the bag inside (not the bus employee). I didn’t have an option there, so abide with that. Once inside the bus, we couldn’t find any seat number marked. Started counting from the first row manually and came to a consensus on the seat number!! There was blanket on the seat. It was disgusting to see the vomit stains and remains in it. It was really unhygienic. Once the bus started, there were noises coming from all over. It was an age old bus, which was making sound from every nick and corner. Thought of adjusting that too, as our prime aim is to reach Delhi and then connect to my flight to Bangalore. It might be around 1AM in the early morning. I felt that the bus was not moving and standing stationary. I got up and found that most of the passengers were in deep sleep. To my shock, found that the driver could not start the bus anymore. We were in the middle of nowhere. Slowly over the course of the time, most of us realized that we won’t be able to continue our journey further in this bus. I tried calling the bus agency number, which is given in the ticket. But no one attended the call. Then all the passengers along with the driver started asking for the help with the oncoming traffic – either bus or van or car. Our only intention was to reach the destination safely and continue our journey further. At around 4:30AM we were able to get another ordinary bus going only upto Chandigarh (we were supposed to travel to Delhi). Finally we reached Chandigarh at 7:15AM. From there we had to book a taxi to Delhi (if we wait for other buses/trains we would miss our flight back to Bangalore). We were just in time to reach the airport for our onward journey. We were asked to contact the bus agency about the issue and get a refund of the ticket cost. Once back at home, I was trying all modes to get in touch with the bus agency and get the refund. There was no response after multiple contacts and finally once they attended the call and said they can’t owner the claim. They said, the driver helped for alternate, which was completely wrong. I tried to explain this but ended in the deaf ears. This bus agency is cheaters and they display the sample photos of the nice buses on the website and provide all cheap buses and services. After all these pain during the travel, we ended up paying twice – once for this service, which they have not provided and two for the actual travel in different buses and taxis. I recommend all prospective passengers to check the review of the agency and book the buses appropriately. I don’t want to anyone to land on my situation at an unknown place with family and children in the midnight. A big NO to Himachal Holidays Volvo I'll give a ZERO rating, if it was available here.

Worst travelling ever at bus no 3355 from Anand vihar to haldwani ! Firstly arrival time for the bus at Anand vihar was 9:30 n it came late around 10 pm n the no we got of bus to contact was switched off n people didn't know even the no of the bus ! When no got reachable it was like very rude behaviour of the staff . Secondly speed was not simple it was much overspeed like to control over the speed .The driver was running the bus as it's own way . Lastly ln the mid of journey at garhganga he stopped the bus n there his diesel tank was leaking slightly it got fine anyway but from bilaspur the tank was like whole leaked n diesel was spreading everyewheres the bus was proceeding n finally at rudrapur he dropped all the Passengers of differned forward destinations n shifted them in different different buses . This shows low quality of bus no maintainance at all driving was really bad as we pay 1000 of each one n he dropped many of Passengers 30-40 kms before destination. I will definitely Suggest the people plzz don't go for the private buses as they willl take money but can't fulfill ur expectations at all ! No proper seats no curtains no proper our money usuage ! Also departure time was 9:40 but bus came at 10 n strt at 10:30 or 11 pm around n arrival time was 5:30 also driver said ki he will cover the time but due to all this mess the arricar was at 7 am in morning . No management at all ! All money went into vain

The worst ever travel experience... 1.Charged extra for luggage. 2.Suddenly informed that I have to accommodate in another bus as number of passengers is very low for that bus 3.The bus stopped at EIGHT locations. 4.The departure time was 2hrs delayed.and it took 15hrs to reach Delhi. 5.And the worst part....My friend missed the flight.

Don't be penny wise, pound foolish by booking this bus just because it's cheap. Had an absolutely horrphor experience while travelling from Delhi to Manali. The buses are not real Volvo's but some local made AC buses, my bus was delayed by 7 hrs! Yes you hear that right, 7 HOURS (ideal journey duration is 12 hrs, took me 19), AC was switched off repeatedly for every ascent in the hills. I had a horrible experience, hopine none of you will have to go through the same. Please do not book this bus!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! One star is too much, should be zero or even a -5 Unprofessional scammers. The bus arrived at staring point 30minutes late and didn't leave for another 90minutes. All staff were unhelpful and rude. The bus was not up to a good standard of cleanliness and the driver and support driver were loud throughout the night. They charge you to put your luggage on, this should NOT happen! The buses are not as shown. Despite booking specific seats they have no numbered seats and try to put you where they want. Far too many stops along the way, unnecessary and not advertised. The driving was careless and erratic along the hair pin bends towards Manali and not comfortable for an overnight bus. To make our 15 hour overnight journey even worse some of the customers had loud music playing and, despite asking the staff to tell them to turn it off it continued. I am sure the owner will say this review is inaccurate... but ALL the reviews speak for themselves and are NOT wrong!

Very bad service, will never travel on this bus agency buses. Were very rude and misbehaved with us..

Worst bus service..... My tickets was cancelled and the bus operator didn't even picked up the calls neither replied to any mail. Tickets ere cancelled 2 hr. Before the journey and they did not gave any other alternative.

This is my Worst travelling ever at bus no 6935 from Nainital to Anand Vihar ! This was most difficult journey in my life by this bus. This bus driver was like Gunda person who is doing all the wrong activity himself (Over Speeding, On Call, High volume music) and daunting passengers. Speed was not simple it was much overspeed many passengers are vomitting but they dont care when I was angry he said - मालिक को एवरेज भी तो देना .The driver was running the bus as it's own way . All night me and my office colleague travelled in that bus with Fear of life. At the end of my journey I told him I will write the review for you he said - मेरा मालिक तुम्हे घर से उठवा लेगा . I am Suggesting the all the peoples plzz don't use this bus service network at any cost of life.
