★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a kangra thali, siddhu with masala kangra chai and sweet lassi. Everything tasted very nice and authentic himachali food. Happy!
It's mostly crowded at lunch hours. I really liked the kangri chai.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An average place to enjoy some of the polular local cuisines of Himachal Pradesh. Have tried their Kangri Dham, Namkeen Siddu, Lassi & Babroo.
While the Dham was okeyish, their Siddu, Babroo & Lassi was well below average. Tourists outside Himachal may find the food new and somewhat refreshing, but for someone who is from Himachal, or who has already tried these cuisines at other restaurants, then this place may come out to be a bit of a let down.
Full marks for hygiene & ambience though. Parking not available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you like exploring food while travelling then this is a must try when you are in Shimla. A small cozy dining, they offer only Himachali food that too with very limited choices. Being from Delhi, I expected a thali with Roti and Sabzi but got to know that they do not serve roti in a thali meal. But the Pulses tasted well flavourful. Sidu is also good to try once atleast!

For a person to try new cuisine, it is an ok effort made at this small place. The sweet Babroo was yummy for the taste buds. The Himachali songs & Natti as they call were ? with traditional sitting upstairs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just love Himachali Rasoi. This place is epic. Highly Recommended for all the Himachali Food Lovers. The concept of restaurant is so unique. You can enjoy food with table chair in ground Floor or to be a part Himachali tradition and culture you must dine in uppar sitting area. Basically they made so similar with the traditional Himachali homes where people dine in uppar part of room. We order Sidu, the traditional Himachali Dish served with Desi Ghee and Chutney. We had lassi also. The food was delicious. The location just down from Mall Road. Highly Recommended for all the Tourists wanna try Real Himachali Dishes to experience the Himachali Tradition & Culture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kangdi thali was tastes ok to me. Mandyali thali is much better option, for me as we had it next day at Jakoo Temple in Bhandara.
Savoury sidu was not so good, you can try sweet one, may be it will better.
Lassi is good
A4 sheet Menu is not cleaned, food is sticked to them, at this rate atleast menu should be cleaned.
Place is in the mall road, it a small place.

They have a limited menu but everything is authentic Himachali food . the Kangri dham thali has 5 varieties of dals and accompaniments with Madra too . It also has a dry fruit sweet . The whole thing is a must try . Rheru is very soothing to the palate . Siddu and babroo must also be had !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small and cute place with authentic Himachal food. We had half thali, which were very tasty, but wasn't filling though. Good and quick service and warm welcoming staff. Space to sit for 12-15 people. Space is a little cramped. Good ambience. Didn't really like the sweet along with the thali, felt too sweet and didn't taste the best. Curries were mostly dal, channa and other lentils and were tasty. Would recommend this place to try out.
