HMT has in fact produced one of the finest machines thru over six decades carering the defence, railways and auto industry needs. Known for its robust design and durability machines as old as fifty years are still running with the best of its accurancy overtaking imported machines too.
Almost every machine tool industry has been touched by HMTs excellence in setting standards and also grooming thousands of mechanical engineers, technicians who are engaged in the machine tool industry all over the nation.
No doubt HMT is a successful industry, not all successful industry do profit always.
