★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty well known in this area and a favourite of the students and office goers. I have seen this place graduate from a road side stall to a permanent shop. The first time had a roll here was in 1996.
The chicken items are good. The veg items are so so. The dough is not mixed well enough.
Please remember to ask the guy to make your roll crispy. Otherwise by the time you reach the last part of your roll it would have already become elastic.
The final verdict: Rolls are priced reasonably. Taste and preparation-wise the rolls are mediocre.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good place to have rolls. One of the famous in park Street, Kolkata. It's s stand and ear kind of a place. Pay and park facility available for park street. U can park your vehicle depending upon the spacing. (Generally it's crowded). There is no dedicated parking for hot Kati rolls as such.
Nominal pricing. And good food.

The owner reprimanded his staff and opted to prepare the roll by himself...and filled a chicken roll with only onion...so a Rs. 55 chicken roll only had onion, sauce and more onion and maybe 1-2 pieces of tiny bits of chicken for taste...whereas all other rolls were made by the staff very diligently.
Really very very disappointed at the standard that this famous roll corner has come down to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had visited the shop based on the reviews online as well as reviews from my friends and acquaintances.
Upon having my own experience of having Chicken Roll, it felt that it was overhyped. I don't know if it was an one time affair or if it's like that only, my experience was not good.
I had ordered Chicken Roll. The paratha was a bit salty and rubbery like. It had to be chewed a lot. The salty paratha with the salty chicken did not make it a good combination.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an old place at the entrance of park street beside asiatic society. This was our go to place in our college days in the late 90s, for a quick fix of hunger pangs at a low pocket pinch. Recently visited the place again and was disappointed with how much the quality has gone down by. The rubbery paratha defininitely does not add to the experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have searched for best Street food in Kolkata and the result was this shop. We drove 20km to reach there and we got best chicken roll i have ever had, we ordered special double chicken roll, the Quality and quantity was heavy. They have egg,chicken and mutton.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So yes, after being recommended by one of my friends, I went to taste it's rolls. They provide egg, chicken and mutton rolls. I had a single egg double chicken roll. Trust me, it was lip smacking. If I talk about it's prices, ya they're a tad bit expensive, but considering the fact that it's located on Park street, you can pretty much expect it. I'd recommended it for all the roll lovers out there!
